Dominic J. Taglialatella

Dominic J. Taglialatella is a world-class gallerist with over four decades of experience
in the international art market. Mr. Taglialatella is perhaps best known as the founder of
Taglialatella Galleries of New York, Palm Beach, Paris, and Toronto. In 2021 he turned
the reigns of the eponymous gallery he grew into an international powerhouse over to a
new partnership team. Today he remains an important consultant to the gallery while
actively working as a private consultant, lecturer, and broadcaster, and is actively
divesting his private art collection of 50 years which is available for viewing in his private
office/climate-controlled storage facility in West Palm Beach, FL by appointment.

Offering a wealth of expertise in a variety of genres and a lifetime of practical knowledge
in the art industry, Mr. Taglialatella has been helping clients build collections worldwide.
Mr. Taglialatella continues an active advisory business for major collectors, his area of
expertise is European Modernism. Specifically, Van Gogh’s Dutch Period, the School of
Paris, the postwar CoBRA Movement, and the Nouveau Realist Movement of the South
of France. Notable highlights of his career include mounting a major Van Gogh
exhibition in New York City and in his career has sold 12 original Van Gogh artworks.
He was the sole American on the advisory board of the CoBRA Museum in the
Netherlands and flew 50 American collectors to the museum’s opening.

A lifelong proponent of constant learning, Mr. Taglialatella has mentored generations of
gallerists and is a much sought after educator and lecturer. Admired for his vast
knowledge, audiences have grown to love his accessible, trademark raconteur style. He
has lectured at a variety of universities, museums and art fairs in America and Europe.
In recent years he has given a series of over 20 lectures attended by some 4,000
people at one of the most prestigious country clubs in the country. It is estimated that
over the past decade over 7,000 people have attended Mr. Taglialatella’s lectures.

In 2019 Dominic Taglialatella and Dick Robinson of Legends Radio created the “Art
Legends Minute,” a series of short features exploring great art and artists to enhance
the Legends Radio theme “Legends Loves the Arts.” This series of colorful, absorbing,
and informative 60 to 90 second short features accompanied by a curated musical
complement which Mr. Taglialatella selects are broadcast on the Dick Robinson Show
weekly. Legends Radio is the nation’s largest independent radio station, broadcast in
Palm Beach County on 100.3 FM and is streamed worldwide.

After decades of owning and operating Taglialatella Galleries, Dom Taglialatella has retired from Taglialatella Galleries. However, he will continue to serve as a consultant for the gallery. Meanwhile, the Taglialatella Family is currently in the process of selling their private art collection. It is worth noting, however, that this sale is separate and distinct from any artist, or art collections offered by the Taglialatella Galleries. Requests for artwork sold by Taglialatella Galleries will be forwarded to their team.
